How to cancel an account or services or domain names:
OPTION 1: Cancel Entire Account:
You MUST send an email FROM the email address that is on the account, requesting cancellation of account services. Please note that this will cancel ALL services including domain registration and management. If you want to keep your domain name, you cannot close your account. You can close any and all other services to maintain domain name registration(s). Please be sure to reply back to Hostica using the cancellation request ticket.
OPTION 2: Cancel Products & Services:
On the products and service page, click the Active button -
Select Request Cancellation -
OPTION 3: Cancel Domain Name:
A domain name cannot actually be cancelled. Rather it has to be set to expire. There are absolutely NO REFUNDS for domain name registrations. This is an ICANN issue and they do NOT allow refunds under any circumstances. You must contact firstname.lastname@example.org or create a ticket at help.hostica.net (sign in) to request a domain expiration status. Once processed, the domain name will expire on the anniversary date and become available for purchase if the registry does not offer it in their domain name auctions.
